Do you remember where you were on April 16, 2019?

Updated: Feb 21, 2023

I do, I was in the hospital prepping for surgery after a long an arduous struggle with fibroid tumors, excessive monthly flow and debilitating cramps.

I struggled for years with a horrendous menstrual cycle, to the point that one day when I was in my office the pain got so bad, I nearly passed out. I had to lay down on my office floor until it passed, then I quickly went home before the next one could hit.

When I told my doctors, yes multiple gynecologists, their solution was putting me on the pill. None of them ever asked about my diet or exercise routine. The “pill” was the solution.

I took the pill for a while and it helped, but I was always fearful of taking something like that long term, so eventually I stopped. And the pain and the embarrassing heavy flow returned.

By this time, I was well past my desire to have more children, so I asked my current gynecologist what options I had. First she suggested getting a sonogram to determine what was causing the issue. The sonogram revealed several large fibroid tumors. These were the things causing such pain! Unfortunately, I wasn’t a suitable candidate for Endometrial Ablation, so a hysterectomy was my only other alternative, according to my doctor.

In order to have the shortest recovery time, so I could get back to work, I wanted to have the surgery done laparoscopically. Well, the tumors were too large to have this type of surgery. For another year, I suffered through monthly hormone shots to shrink the tumors.

Finally, in 2019 the tumor shrunk enough I could have the laparoscopic surgery. Finally, some relief or so I thought. I just traded one problem for another, albeit not quit as severe. After I healed from my surgery, I started to suffer from bloating, constipation and weight gain, ugh! And being thrown into the throes of menopause, my skin started to age overnight, sigh!!

I suffered with these symptoms for nearly a year, until I discovered the solution. By drinking, the Green Gut Glow trio, every morning, which is a mixture of superfood greens, guthealth digestion and microbiome support and collagen support, things have really improved. I no longer have bloating, the constipation is a thing of the past, let’s face it if your not pooping everyday your guts not healthy, and my skin has a much more youthful look.

Maybe you aren’t suffering from post-surgery struggles like I was, but if you are feeling bloated, constipated and just not looking like yourself, merely because you are in midlife, then you will definitely want to incorporate the Green Gut Glow trio into your daily routine. Cheers to feeling your best!
